The Founder and the managing partner
Background
IBRAHIM is the founder and the managing partner of IEO Advocates. He is a Tax Law expert. He served the Tax Appeals Tribunal (TAT) temporarily for 6 months. Apart from that, he has worked with the Commission on Administrative Justice (Ombudsman), Faulu Micro Finance Bank and Haki Mashinani Organization. He has been a Senior Associate Advocate in Kibet Rop & Co Advocates. Ibrahim is also one of the founding partners in Ibrahim & Macharia Advocates (IBMA). Having been trained by the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP), he is also an expert in Judicial Review matters.
Ibrahim is a specialist in: Tax law & Practice, Legislative Drafting & policy making, Banking & Finance Law, Commercial Law, Conveyancing Law & Practice, Intellectual Property Law, Constitutional & Human Rights Law, Labour Law, Construction & Engineering, Aviation Law and Litigation. He is a passionate about International Commercial Law.

- Acting for various companies in multiple insolvency Petitions;
- Acted for directors of a company and successfully lifted orders that required those directors to appear before various Courts for cross examination on affairs of the company;
- Acted for various companies to set up franchises across the county;
- Acted for a South African companies to incorporate its subsidiary in Kenya and advised on tax compliance and corporate governance;
- Advising a local branch of an international entity in connection with tax compliance and corporate governance in Kenya;
- Acting for various estates to recover investments from The Industrial and Commercial Development Corporation (ICDC);
- Serving in LSK Law Reform and Development Committee whose mandate is to review Laws of Kenya.
- Was involved in drafting and review of Access to Information regulations, 2019 for the Commission on Administrative Justice (Office of the Ombudsman).
- Worked with LSK through the Criminal Justice Committee to make Legal and Policies changes in criminal justice system in Kenya;
